February 25, 2020: A public workshop was held on February 20th. The planning team is working on analyzing workshop results and producing final concepts.
February 11, 2020: The planning team met with the Advisory Committee to discuss the format of the public workshop, and do a "test run" of the workshop.
January 22, 2020: The planning team met with the Plan Advisory Committee and provided a summary of the public involvement to date, the demographic research, and results of preliminary land use and parks and recreation analyses.
January 15, 2020: The results of the statistically-valid survey were presented to the City Council by Y2 Analytics, and an update on the project status was given by Landmark Design.
December 10, 2019: The statically-valid survey has been wrapped up and results are currently being analyzed. An open-access survey is now available for the public to take. See the Survey tab for more information. Social Pinpoint, an online engagement tool that allows Mapleton residents to leave location-based comments, has been launch. November 7, 2019: A Public Scoping Meeting was held at City hall to gather public input and concerns. The planning team is continuing documentation and analysis of existing conditions. Efforts to develop a community preference survey are wrapping up, and residents can expect the survey to be sent out in the coming weeks. See the survey tab for more information.
October 29, 2019: The planning Team met with the Advisory Committee to introduce the planning process. Notes from this meeting can be found in the Plan Advisory Committee tab.
